“There’s a Standard for That” What’s Going on in the World of Archival Standards and Why You Should Care with Dan Michelson

We will be speaking with Dan Michelson, the co-chair of the Society of American Archivists Standards Committee.
He will be talking about his work as standards committee member in the SAA as well as the committees functions, ongoing trends and best practices in archival standards, and why it is important for those within the field to remain involved and informed in even the smallest aspects of their work!
“Preserving Today for an Accessible Tomorrow” Conservation at the Princeton University Art Museum with Bart Devolder and Elena Torok
Monday, February 23rd at 6pm via zoom
We will be speaking with Bart Devolder and Elena Torok, the Chief and co-conservators from the Princeton University Art Museum.
They will be sharing about their experiences working to preserve and make accessible the numerous invaluable pieces of art and ephemera in the museum’s collection. We will also discuss the experience of rebuilding a museum and promoting a greater understanding of conservation through its state-of-the-art lab!
