Production Techniques

  • The curriculum continues to introduce students to the technical production techniques used in advertising to gain and direct attention, with a focus on people in the ad, setting, font, and visuals. Each of these production techniques is illustrated in an ad.
    • People: individuals featured in the ads
    • Setting: where to locate the ad
    • Font: size and placement of the letters or words included in an ad
    • Visuals: colors, images, and other visual features to get the attention of the target audience
