Using Software Anywhere on Firefox (Mac OS X)

Please verify that you have provisioned your class resources through NetSync (http://account.comminfo.rutgers.edu) and installed the Citrix Receiver before proceeding.

  1. Open Firefox, browse to the Software Anywhere site (http://sa.comminfo.rutgers.edu)
  2. Login with your NetID username and password
  3. Click on your application of choice, it should open in Citrix Receiver

NOTE: If your application does not open in Firefox, perform the following steps:

  1. In Firefox, click the menu button. Click “Add-ons”. OR browse to the URL of “about:addons”
  2. Click on “Plugins”.
  3. Look for “Citrix Receiver plug-in”. Change its setting from “Ask to activate” to “Always Activate”
  4. Restart Firefox, then attempt to use a Software Anywhere application again. If these steps do not help, please contact SC&I IT Services at help@comminfo.rutgers.edu
