Please join the Beta Phi Mu, Omicron Chapter, for its 5th Annual Fall
Lecture. Our speaker, Dr. Michael Stephens, will present “Building the
Hyperlinked Library.”
Michael Stephens, Ph.D., is Assistant Professor in the Graduate School
of Library and Information Science at Dominican University in Illinois.
Dr. Stephens has been named a Library Journal “Mover and Shaker,” and
is the author of the popular blog, “Tame the Web.” He is an
international speaker recognized for his commitment to building
connections both human and technological and his exploration of the
evolving library.
When: Thursday, November 19, 7:00 PM reception, followed by the
lecture at 7:30 PM.
Where: Rutgers University Alexander Library, Pane Room (on the 1st floor)
Parking for this event is free for visitors in the College Ave deck
(not in metered spaces). Regular parking restrictions apply to faculty,
staff and students.
