In a review of the first four years of Retraction Watch, which has been called “one of the best innovations in science in recent years,” speaker Ivan Oransky will discuss:
• the reasons why papers are retracted
• how often fraud occurs
• whether journals are quick or slow to respond
• other issues related to scientific integrity
