The Exploding Book and The Smiling Librarian / Marc Aronson, Ph.D. and Evan St. Lifer
How will ebooks, apps, Skype — the digital materials and tools coming to school and public libraries — change what youth service librarians do: What is changing? What is staying the same? What are the opportunities? How can the next generation of librarians change the field as young people grow up with swipes, clicks, and tablets along with page turns, citations, and textboks.
Marc Aronson, Ph.D., YA author and SC&I lecturer, and Evan St. Lifer, Vice President Digital Initiatives, Scholastic Library Publishing, shared their thoughts and experiences.
